Lonely Dinosaur Cover

I completed this project for my Beginning Illustration course at MTSU. For this project I was first given the task of choosing a few different animals to combine in order to create a new creature. I chose a crocodile, a cougar, a lizard, and a stegosaurus. I used graphite, pen, and ink wash to create the original drawing. I scanned the image in and used Adobe Photoshop to touch up and add color. After this was done, I decided to take the image and use it to create a design for a children's book cover. I created the final Lonely Dinosaur book cover in Adobe InDesign and digitally mocked it up in Adobe Photoshop.
