Flapper Magazine

​I completed this project for my Word & Image course at MTSU. For this project I was to choose a subculture to create a magazine cover and spread about. I chose flappers, and gathered photos including many photos that Tara Spradley took of me to incorporate in the designs. I was then tasked with coming up with a name for my magazine and creating headlines and body copy to incorporate in my designs. I decided to create a fashion / beauty magazine that also incorporated the history of both those things called “Flapper”. Finally, I made the spread and cover in Adobe InDesign and mocked up my final designs  in Adobe Photoshop.
