Microphobia Project
I completed this project for my Word & Image course at MTSU. For this project I was first given the task of finding a phobia I wanted to bring awareness to. I chose microphobia: the fear of small or miniature things. My next task was to find or create objects to use in a kit for people who suffer with the phobia. I made a miniature brush, shampoo bottle, soap bar, and toilet paper roll out of clay in order to create a kit oriented towards providing exposure therapy for people with microphobia. I, then, created a brand around the idea called Small Pond Miniatures. With this, I was to design a package for these products and create a brochure to go inside it. I then photographed my final design. For the second part of this project, I had to create a series of two poster ads to advertise my brand / kit and include a QR code that links to a PDF of the posters. Finally, I digitally mocked up my poster designs in Adobe Photoshop.
